Petit orthodontics (partial orthodontics) involves fitting devices to only the six teeth from canine to canine, treating only the visible front teeth.
Brackets (devices for fixing the wires) come in metal brackets and white aesthetic brackets, and white wires are also used, making orthodontic treatment less noticeable.
Traditional full jaw orthodontics involves fitting orthodontic devices to all teeth, adjusting the balance between the teeth and jaw, and correcting the alignment of the teeth.
Petit orthodontics (partial orthodontics) involves fitting devices to only six teeth, from canine to canine, and treating only the visible front teeth .
Compared to back teeth, front teeth are easier to move and don't move as far, so adjusting the bite doesn't take as long.
Petit orthodontics (partial orthodontics) has the advantage of a shorter treatment period, lower costs, and less pain than full jaw orthodontics.

Partial orthodontics for front teeth that can be started easily

paid in 36 installments.
The teeth are moved by attaching devices called "brackets" (2-5mm wide) to the surfaces of the six front teeth (from canine to canine) and threading a wire through them.
There are two types of brackets: metal brackets and white cosmetic brackets.
A common cause of crooked teeth is an imbalance in the size of the teeth and jaw.
Therefore, it may be necessary to create space for the teeth to align properly.
In such cases, a procedure called stripping is performed, in which the adjacent surfaces of the front teeth are sliced slightly (about 0.5 mm on each side) to reduce the width of the teeth.
If the lower front teeth are significantly crooked, one front tooth may need to be extracted.
*If teeth are extracted for partial orthodontic treatment, an additional 5,500 yen (tax included) will be required for each tooth.
For those who are concerned about their appearance during orthodontic treatment,
we recommend the less noticeable "aesthetic brackets + white wires."

ブラケットとワイヤーを外した後に、移動した歯が元の位置に戻ろうとする、
「後戻り」を防止する『歯を動かさないための装置』です。
保定装置には、取り外しのできるタイプ（可撤式リテーナー）と、取り外しができないタイプ（固定式リテーナー）があります。
アクリル樹脂やラバー系の材料でできた、透明なマウスピースタイプの保定装置です。
取り外しが可能で、夜間のみ使用していただきます。
歯の裏側に細くて丈夫なワイヤーを接着して固定し、後戻りを防ぎます。
装置が小さくて目立ちにくいのが特徴です。
固定式なので取り外しは出来ませんが、保定に優れています。

A、当院で行うプチ矯正は、概ね半年以内で終えられる方が多いのですが、治療の中断があったり、歯が動きにくい方だと半年を超える場合もあります。
A、治療は可能ですが、前突感を完全になくすことは出来ません。
歯と歯の隙間や、凹凸（おうとつ）を一列に並べることは可能です。
